Fremont, Nebraska

Experience the ambience...take a look back in time aboard 1940s heated and air-conditioned, elegantly attired cars. The train operates from Fremont to historic Hooper, a 30 mile round trip up the beautiful Elkhorn River Valley. Stop at downtown Hooper's Main Street, built in the 1890s. Full five-course meals served on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoon while rolling over the floor of the Platte and Elkhorn River valleys. Bar service is also available.

The refurbished dining cars carry passengers back to the time when rail travel was the norm. Music, movies and other nostalgic activities are often available, as well as murder-mystery dinner theaters, melodramas, wine tastings, USO shows and special holiday runs.

The train operates on tracks owned by the Fremont & Elkhorn Valley Railroad; boarding is at FEVR's depot.
